Admins,

See what is being posted in the Pattaya pit.

A savage place, like a mad max movie.

That's not what it is, can't be like that.

Do something.

So find us something positive to balance it out. Brit can't help that the place is a magnet for nutters. :o

…the problem as I see it, one or two of the prolific posters seem to get their ‘kicks’ from “cut’n’pasting” the piss-poor PCN reports. My gripe is that their so called news reporters write in such a juvenile manor that I for one can’t take anything they write with anything other than a pinch of salt. Maybe they follow up on a story once in every 2000 reports, really dreadful.

I guess Admin have their own reasons to allow this garbage to be posted on the forum, however, how on earth can an email alert be originated from PCN as per a couple of nights ago? Any answer?

Are you the same Miaow that is my landlady ? :D

I tried to find something to complain about in that positive topic you mentioned. :D

Cdnvic mentioned that very few people were even looking at the story, let alone replying to it. I suspect it will drop down the page into obscurity rather rapidly.

Look at the story about the guy who fled the police checkpoint. 38 hours old and it's had over 6,000 views and almost 90 replies (averaging almost 160 views and 2+ replies per hour).

The thread you mentioned is about 14 hours old and has had 72 views and 7 replies (average 5 views/hour and .5 replies/hour).

Good news stories just don't "sell", not in the media and obviously, not on TV either. :o

....you can't use the 'fleeing driver' story as any type of example as it was sent out as an email alert for some daft reason!

Really ? I get an ocassional email alert now and then but usually ignore them, as I am on here almost every day any ways. That would explain the large number of "views" though.

How, or who, decides what stories should be sent out via email alerts ?

A question I have asked a few times.....no answer thus far!

Maybe it's done randomly as a tool to revalidate members email adresses.
