Help! Any Good Kitchen Contractors and Built-In Contractors

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone, Need Help here. Just bought a couple of house for my better half in Phayao but I could not find a decent kitchen contractor or built-in furniture contractor in Phayao and think I will have to find such suppliers in Chiangrai. Anybody can recommend some good quality suppliers who can do great looking kitchen and furniture with good materials ie corian tops etc.

Thanks In Advance.

Any reason you don’t want to use natural materials like granite for counter tops?

Our cabinet makers were not great but by sticking to materials they were comfortable with things turned out okay.

In my opinion, you are better off finding someone closer to home as costs go up considerably if you have to bring in workers and materials. People who are really good are usually in high demand and will typically have a minimum size and cost for projects they will consider.

It is hard to know what you really want without more information. Here is a bad shot of our kitchen in wood, tile and granite , (dog not included).wink.png

Yeah, it looks like he does the dishes. I'd keep him.

She.

They used to always come with a dishes program installed.

Not so much now days though. sad.png

Scea is correct as usual, "She". The only thing our lovely Cookie cleans unfortunately is her pet cat and her food bowl. She leaves hair and saliva everywhere. Oh my, we are getting off topic again. No doubt these images will be removed at some point but for now here is another image of our daughter and her pet cat, somewhere near the kitchen.wink.png

Should be OK VF, I distinctly see the tiled floor leading to the kitchen in the background. laugh.png

off topic again.... who vacuums the floor

It is a multistep process. First, one dry mops the floor with one of those meter wide dusters to pick up all the loose hair, bugs and lizard shit which has accumulated since the day before. Then one must wet mop the floor to remove the dried saliva stains.
The entire house is done in those big porcelain finished floor tiles. They have a high gloss finish so it is very easy to see where Cookie has dripped water after drinking or laying on the floor with her tongue hanging out.
The vacuum only gets used on rugs and furniture.
We have tried having help in the house but my wife found it easier, in the end, to just do it herself. Recently, however, her sister has started helping out, as my wife is going crazy trying to maintain her grade point at Rajabhat.

I think we are just have a chat while we are waiting around for the OP to get back to us with a little more insight into what he is looking for and his budgetary requirements.wink.pngwai.gif

I must admit I have never heard of a specialised kitchen installer in Chiang Rai, could be something that you would have to contact a local builder and talk about it.

AjarnP would probably have known but he's been absent for a while.

When i move up there i hope there is one around , i am not!! bring my kitchen up there ...geez

I have since realised that your cat is not a tasty treat for your daughter, but more a salt lick :D

Just saw this so it may be too late but Sahapaiboon sells modular kitchen cabinets, KEIA? and my wife at the time understool they supplied experienced installers.

Sent from my GT-P5113 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Try the Nan Global House. Its a few miles your side of Nan on the Ban Luang road.

  • 2 weeks later...

What used to be the American Standard place near the entry yo the old bus station has some reasonable modular kitchen unit stuff.

It ain't Pogenpohl but neither is this Germany.
