Vehicle ferry from Don Sak

Featured Replies

Has anyone taken a big bike on the vehicle ferry from Don Sak to Koh Pha-Ngan?

I am thinking of doing this and don't want my 500 cc bike damaged. How is the bike secured? Can riders stay with their bike? What if it is choppy?

I am not going to Koh Samui.

Taken my PCX on ferry several times, .... not a problem.

If you want to stay with your bike it's not a problem either .... but there are usually several bikes on every ferry, that do the trip .... they seem to stay put.wink.pngwhistling.gif

Thanks. I like the idea of staying with the bike.

Any idea of a ball park figure for the fare, me and the bike?

Thanks again.

That fare sounds reasonable. I may try this out.

oh....opps, that's the fare to Samui... KP perhaps a bit more.... but still reasonable, .... I am sure ! (assume that is where you are going, if not Samui) wink.png

I was going to keep A bike at Phangan, just to handle those hills better. Those 110cc things that rental shops have just don't do the job.

Raja ferry is the one you need to get to KP..

480 for 'big bike' and rider...

280 for bike and rider ???

Just not sure what classes as a big bike :)

Cant open their link to post at the moment but just google Raja ferries, it has all the times and prices on there.

Thank you very much, Carlos.

It is definitely classed as a big bike in Thailand so 480 for bike and rider each way.
