A very sad reply. Deterrents are good. But, they have to be reasonable and proportional. Putting her in with the general prison population is just nasty and heartless. They must have significantly less harsh detention centers that would have been far more appropriate. More well deserved egg on the face of Thai tourism. -

We was campaigning for well over 1 year, and cutting budget / foreign aid & immigration was pretty much his top priorities, along with trade balance / tariffs Yakked about wasting money during the campaign. So not seeing the surprise. No other care for her in the whole province ? More like a Thai health care for refugee issue, not a USA issue or cause. Pretty obvious it was completely irrelevant in this woman's death ... IMHO. If from Myanmar, she was already 5 past her life expectancy for being born 1954. -
