Was WW2 accompanied by endless whinging about the increase in the cost of living? I very much doubt it , once the ration books are handed out the price of goods becomes less relevant than the availability , This so called "war" is not even a month old yet, there will be plenty more tears shed if it lasts 5 years, We just need to accept that $hit happens , and it always flows down hill, so tighten your belts and crack on with life as best you can, after all , our grandparents managed it
