Panasonic SA-PT870 Home Theatre System

Featured Replies

Ok I've had one of these for just over 4 years.

Had it set up so that switching on the Panasonic TV with the remote would automatically switch on the home theatre system.

In recent months, that feature has worked intermittently and then, just yesterday, it stopped working altogether.

Now, the unit won't switch on at all - via remote or otherwise.

All I get is a click sound when I hit the power button.

Because it's a power supply issue, I'm thinking it probably won't be too expensive to fix so I'm loathe to go out and buy a new system. I've tried using another power cord and a different power socket but no change.

So my question is, does anyone know of a reliable and competent service centre in the Asoke/Sukhumvit part of BKK that could be entrusted with it?

Thanks for that.

Brought it into them for repair. Took two and a half weeks to get it back but it's working fine.

3 month warranty on the repair.

We shall see.
