Visa-run to Hat Yai...from koh pha ngan

Featured Replies

Tired of making my visa-run every 3 months with KS visarun (taking nightboat, driver almost unpleasant, no respect of people) i have decided to make my visa-run by myself.

Just book a ticket with lompraya, for 800 baths to Hat Yai.

Leave koh pha ngan at 7am, arrive at 3 pm.
Arrive Hat yai ( bus station) go to desk 26, buy a ticket for the border (57 baths), take the first minibus, after 1 hour arrive the Sadao-border, check-out thailand, take mototaxi to malay border (100 baths for turn around), check-in thailand, go down the street, and in front 7/11 (150 meters) book ticket to hat yai, take the first one, arrive 1 hour later at Hat Yai bus station.

Spend the night quietly in hat yai (Thung Sao Mansion is just at 10 mn by walk from the station, and about 500 baths/night).

Come back next morning, minibus leave Hat yai at 8 am and arrive Donsak-pier at 12h30(490 baths), then take ferry at 1pm (220 baths) arrive at 3h30 pm really kool...........
No stress, not so much expensive and really different, with only thai people.
No need to wait at the border because people have overstay or more.
It have cost me in all : 1724 baths + one night i a nice Mansion just beside the bus station 500 baths.....

And really its a much better experience than to make it in "group".

I always drive myself.

Can stop where and when i want for as long as i want.

Perfect.
