Seen this place and it's another fishing venue charging lots of money! Looks beautiful though! geared up for tourists who do not mind parting with lots of money!

I don't know much about it but the amount and size of fish I have seen being released into this lake is amazing. Should be a great fishery. Prices should be comparable to the other established places such as Gilhams. More information should be released soon. Keep checking the blog for more updates since the owner is the one updating those blogs. Tight Lines.

Absolutely agree, these places are great if you are tourist and don't mind paying a big price for everything!! Plenty of cheap places around that are not designed to relieve you of lots of sobs!!

Excellent Venue will without any doubt become the top place in Thailand. I have been 3 times and have caught many diff species. Araipaima 85kg they are being caught over 160kg. 5500thb a day 8am to 7pm 2 Rods 1 x Predator 1 x Carp all bait & guides included.

the clue is in the first line of op ,they really need a website ,surely they are not gonna rely on Facebook and a blog, can't find any details about the place, where it is ,price ,how to book etc etc

ah try googling fishing khao lak...............their prices are ridiculous ,thought gilliams was expensive this one even more ,suppose if your a 2 week tourist yoiu don't mind ,for people living here cannot be paying them prices really.

does look a stunning place though.

Lots of videos on youtube about it. I think it's the place you are talking about.

These places are geared up for tourists, they look great places but also have great prices, look at Jurassic mountain they even charge 2000bht for membership which allows you to use your own equipment, who are the members who can afford to fish often and take advantage of this so called membership? It's not wrong but it's far too much for the ordinary person or retiree!!

I dont think he is more expensive then gillams.

If you pass the shell station out of pangnga torwards krabi, and then the golden buddha on the left hand site you will have a sign telling you to turn left, then just follow the road about 14km.

Been there 3-4 times already, good fun.

Khao lak guy is just a guide. The venues often don't seem expensive, it's the guide's rates you are paying. He has to make a living out of you. Much better if you can go yourself.
