Lite Beer Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Raging fire ravages Karon Plaza Eakkapop Thongtub Raging fire ravages Karon Plaza PHUKET: Over B500,000 worth of damage to stock was caused this morning when a fire broke out at the Karon Plaza.Prakong Lertsoongnern, 30, a security guard for the nearby Woraburi Hotel said he noticed the flames at around 6am this morning (October 19) and immediately called the Karon Municipality Office. Three fire trucks were dispatched to bring the fire under control.Mr Prakong added that there were many tourists and residents nearby who feared that the fire would quickly spread to their hotels and homes. Fortunately the fire was contained and put out within 30 minutes. horsewell Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Hope that the owner of the building that I live in doesn't ever run into money problems. 555+ Really, you have to think about why these things happen... you would hope that at 6am no one was around. If they were, then that's a probable cause.
