I am flying into Camodia for the first time on a U.S. passport to Siem Reap. Is there any advantage to applying for an online visa versus getting one upon arrival?

Many thanks.

As Upnotover. Having said that, one of the few things that work in Cambodia is immigration. I fly into Cambodia at least once a month and getting the visa is very fast, especially in SR.

Just be sure you use the official government website to get it. If it does not have .go in the address it is a rip off site that will charge you double the money.

Your E Visa will not eat up a whole page of your passport just an entrance and exit stamp which IMHO is the greatest advantage

I just got back from an overseas trip and noticed one of my old Cambodian visas is peeling off. Great stuff! Freed up a page for me, but took some 8 years to do so....laugh.png

evisa is $28 and stamp in

visa on arrival $20 and full page + stamp in.

your call. I always pay the $20

as i get 28 extra pages for $82

I have lost 2 camboidan visas that peeled off, as of yet NO ONE has placed any stamp on those pages.
