Please note:

This appears to be the small tourist $100 rip-off event, and not the massive real event that happens a week earlier and is free.

Real event expected on Saturday 9th

PS

I have never known the free mass Khom Loy release at the Dhamma Centre in MaeJo to happen the same weekend as Yi Peng.

It once happened on the Saturday 2 weeks before, but usually on Saturday one week before

No, the tourist event is on the 23rd for $100. this is the "real" event.

Doesn't really matter. Its not until 2018. Talk about confusing fonts....

Just to point out the Thai numbers on the poster earlier say the date is 56 ...... this year is 2556.

So that poster has a wrong date in English (2018) but this year in Thai (2556)

14th November 2556 is the Thai date of the event at KSK from 0800 to 1800, constructing Kratongs (the floating things you put in the river).
