I'm on 60 day tourist visa, but only 2 weeks into my trip. I want to go to the casino at the very least with some friends but possibly do other things for the day. Is there a practical way I can cross without voiding my tourist visa? I don't want to do it if it means waiting around some government office for 3 hours. Happy to pay a bribe if the price is reasonable (1000 baht or less) Please post link to a previous thread if this has been discussed.

Have no idea with they allow entry without visa/immigration exit for foreigners but if not you can obtain a re-entry permit from any real immigration office that allows exit and return to the same permitted to stay date you originally had at a cost of 1,000 baht.

before u leave thailand u go to immigration and will be stamped out.

If u want keep the visa valid go an dget a re entry permit for 1,000 baht

The casinos aren't worth visiting, to get to the upstairs at most of them ( where the real games are) u have to change mucho $$$$.

As lopburi said the only 100% guaranty is to go to Kap Choeng Immigration and get a single re-entry permit, cost 1000bt.This would protect your visa and allow you to go stay longer in Cambodia. KCI is about 10 KM before the Chong Chom border crossing.

I parked the car in a parking lot near the border and one of the parking attendants took care of it for me. Cost, 1000B. I wonder how he gets his cut, because he didn't ask for a tip.
