Car with driver

Hi, I'm considering visiting Chaing Rai during Xmas/New Year. Can anyone recommend a good driver with car to hire and places to visit within a day return trip?

Also is it crowded during that time and maybe be better to plan a trip for early January?

New year can be a bit chaotic.

The best place for a car and driver would be a one of the little tourist places around the city center, there's a small soi runs west of the Wang Come Hotel that has a few in it.

Yes, it is busy that time of year but some people like the added excitement. First have a look at this topic and then see if you have any other questions. Perhaps someone else will stop by with car and driver suggestion. That question gets asked a lot, so a response make take a while.

Somewhere around 1500, remember the lower the price the more the driver will be expecting you to sling him a little extra.
