Car with driver

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm considering visiting Chaing Rai during Xmas/New Year. Can anyone recommend a good driver with car to hire and places to visit within a day return trip?

Also is it crowded during that time and maybe be better to plan a trip for early January?

Thanks...

New year can be a bit chaotic.

The best place for a car and driver would be a one of the little tourist places around the city center, there's a small soi runs west of the Wang Come Hotel that has a few in it.

Yes, it is busy that time of year but some people like the added excitement. First have a look at this topic and then see if you have any other questions. Perhaps someone else will stop by with car and driver suggestion. That question gets asked a lot, so a response make take a while.

edit: You are quick on the draw today Scea.thumbsup.gif

New year will be busy but it is worth knowing that CR now has an efficient and reasonably priced metered taxi service.

Thanks for the tip; any idea what a resonable daily rate would be?

Somewhere around 1500, remember the lower the price the more the driver will be expecting you to sling him a little extra.
