Russian found dead in Phuket resort pool
Phuket Gazette

PHUKET: -- A 38-year-old Russian man was found dead in a Phuket resort swimming pool early this morning.

Royal Crown Hotel & Palm Spa Resort staffers informed Patong police of the death at 4:30am.

Police and Kusoldharm rescue workers arrived at the scene to find the man floating face down in the pool.

“He was only wearing swimming trunks, and there was a bottle of liquor at the bottom of the pool,” Lt Col Jongserm Preecha of the Patong Police said.

“There were no signs of physical assault to his body,” Lt Col Jongserm said.

The body was transported to Patong Hospital to determine cause of death.

The Phuket Gazette is withholding the victim's name until confirming that next of kin have been notified of his death.

More appropriately, Rest in Peace Dear Man.

Sorry to say, but this man must to be burried with his liquor bottle.

RIP Russian man.

Whilst I feel sorry for him, I do hope they give the pool a good clean-up, even then, I don't think I'd want to swim in it any time soon.

Why ?

Ghosts.

Seriously, when you die, your bodily fluids are realsed, plus any decomposition of the body. This is more so, in water.
