I am looking a house that is detached and quite new in CM, i found one in Borsang, but that is quite far right?

Where to look for best priced houses? Bahtsold has only 1,5 million prices, do I have to go motorbike hunting, are there people who will sell it for really low price?

Can I get a detached house with fence for like 1,2 million? Or is that a dream?

Keep looking at Baht and Sold .They sometimes have a house for under B1m but usually 20 km + out of the City .I myself will have a nice 2 bed ,in very good condition ,in a guarded village with pool ,10 km out of the City towards Doi Saket ,for around B950,000 next March .It is semi detached though .

Cannot see you finding anything under 1.5 m anywhere near to the city,

unless it in an area that floods,or needs a lot of work done to it.

Thais are very canny and you will find nearly impossible to find a bargain,

but that said,we were lucky,bought one off old lady for 1m,think she just

wanted to spend a bit cash before she popped off, and another off a

Japanese company,who had it as staff house,for Bht 800,000,needed

quite bit of work,but when finish was like new house, total cost 1.3 m

5 beds,2 baths, 100 wah. the land alone in this area , now is going for

25K and up a wah.

No problems buying a house here .I bought 2 myself .I bought through my Thai wife and then got a 30 year lease .(Usufruct ) . Buying through a Co ,still seems possible .I have yet to hear of a Co .house being taken away by the Government .I am not sure though if all Land offices in C.M.accept Co.purchases ?
