I've recently booked a room at Koh Tao Resort at Ao Chaloke Ban Kao. Has anyone stayed here recently? Any comments? Also suggestions on good restaurant, bars in this area...

I am still looking for hotels in Koh Phangan. I've checked Thong Nai Pan Beach Resort, any thoughts about this hotel? Also this area -Ao Thong Nai Pan? Any other suggestions would be appreciated, but we want to stay somewhere quiet..

What price range are you looking for on Koh Phangan? Are you committed to TNP?

Try Baan Panburi on Phangan, stayed there several times, next to Panviman. Great beach and great swimming.

.......sorry, forgot to mention Koh Tao Cabana on Koh Tao. When you arrive by ferry its the one far to your left on the headland. Great rooms and good restaurant. Ask for rooms 16, 17 or 18 and you will have maximum privacy

Stayed at Phanganburi resort in the past ... great pool ... walking distance into Had Rin ... nice
