Ninja 300 owners thread

Featured Replies

I haven't seen too many posts/ threads on the Ninja 300 so I am wondering, who owns one? How do you like the bike? What mods have you done? I have a black and orange one on the way. Today or tomorrow I will be in the saddle!

great bike, have it now about a month (also the orange) but sadly only 300 km driven since I am working all day every day.

easy to manouvre in traffic its a fun little machine but, I am worried if the 300cc will be enough after a couple of months.

did no mods on the bike, most exhausts sound really terrible but maybe will get a tidy tail later on

I like the bike, it has enough power to be a commuter and do touring. If I could afford more than 1 bike I'd probably have the ER6N as well.

Kinda surprised there aren't more forum members riding this bike!

The power is enough for me. I love it. No mods. I don't really want any.

I have had it for a 2-3 month now, about 1100 km on a clock I think. The only mod I've done is lowering the bike (so the GF can reach the ground - I've opened another tread about lowering not so long ago). Not planning any other mods at the moment and probably won't do any at all. Instead of trying to squeeze a bit more power outa it chasing all the mods, buy a bike with more power to begin with, it will be cheaper at the end, I have a 1st hand experience with modding shit out of a machine which still can't compete with bigger (and cheaper!!!) stock counterparts. My advice - leave it as it is if it's the power you're after, once you start modding, you won't stop until you're either run out of dough or there's no more mods left to do. :D

How many km did you guys drive already? and when did you make uour first oil change?

Im now at the realmotosports kawasaki in bkk and they all think im crazy because I want a oil change at 350 km. they asked me 5 times for sure....

Yeah they say it's not necessary untill 1000km

Well they could think what they like and still should do what you like.

I did mine at 900 km, would have taken it in a little sooner but not so easily done when living in a country with nearest dealer 100+ km away.

true, after some shoulder shrugging (and lunch of course) they are finally busy now, today finally a day off so will take it for a first official day trip
