We have been looking at a few housing estates and there are some nice looking places in Central Park Hillside in Pattaya. Was wondeting if anyone had any insider information good, bad etc. It all looks pretty good but there's nothing like real life experience. Cheers.

Yeah, I noticed the resales but to be honest they seemed to be looking for more than they are worth. I'm of the mentality that if I really want to sell in the future I would take the hit rsther than have it empty for years. Having said that, if I was to buy there I might possibly want to rent it out in the future.

I must admit I like the look of the new houses they are building there.

I am buying in Central Park Hillside. I liked several things about this particular location. I do however have a few concerns. They had to back off what seemed to be higher end homes and are now offering pretty basic 2 story houses on 60sw which suits me just fine. I am a big believer in buying the least expensive house in the best development you can afford. Our house is due to be finished in April. There are many started but few finished and I have been looking in this area for about 5 years. This is a situation where a bunch of unfinished homes could end up abandoned by the developer. 60sw gives me enough yard for the dogs to pee and that is pretty much all I want and need.

I rented in Central Park IV a while back and I liked the arrangement that was in place at the time. No guarantee that the home owner association when that time arises, will do as good a job. Paying 5 years fees in advance suits me at this time.

I too think I will buy there, had a few chats with the developers and am quite happy with the setup. I have also heard what other people have said who stayed in other developments by this company and it seems pretty good. I really like the style of the new houses too.

I was a bit dubious about the 5 year in advance fees but it seems to work so why not?

Where we stay now is much more expensive in yearly fees but they have an army of staff that is really unnecessary in my opinion.

Good luck.
