More generally:

According to the government spokesperson, the cabinet has approved The Secretariat of the Cabinet’s request declaring Monday, December 30, 2013 as an additional public holiday. It is expected that the extended holiday will lead to more public spending, which, in turn, will drive the economy forward and support the tourism sector.

This year-end holiday season will begin on December 28, 2013 to January 1, 2014, for a total of 5 days.

28th and 29th being the weekend.

The 31st is the only day marked on the calender for this year.... but there was talk some where in the forums some time ago, that it would be a four day holiday, (that would probably be the weekend too, immigration not open then anyway,)

.... I can't find that thread... I just looked... blink.png...

Banks usually hand out Calenders, about now... so next years, should be available... at your local bank! wink.png

As I recall, the Government made the 30th December a public holiday, so certainly 30, 31st and 1st January but with 28th and 29th as a weekend, it will probably be a 5 day holiday for some.
