Hi all, we are coming back again in April next year and are planning a family trip to from Ubon up to Nong Khai and then stay somewhere in Nang Bua Lamphu overnight as that is near where my brother in laws Mother lives, anyway is there anywhere nice to stay in that area, I have looked online but can't find any reviews for any places in the area.

Also any good restaurants to eat at in Nong Khai, saw a place on a Thai TV show Ku Love Talon Tour which was on the water but can't remember the name of the place, I assume it's a well known restaurant though.

All along Hwy 210 there are Thai style and even a couple of resorts with a pool. Usually around 500 Baht per night. Most are clean but you might want to check.

Best hotel is Nattapong Grand. Its cleanish with a pool

Should be plenty, because of many travellers/tourists going through there.

If you travel with Thais they will easily find a good place upon the Mekong river (with a view).

But I can not help with a name.
