My opinion on education and degree is that as long as you put time and effort into it, you are half way to a good career. An education is not a guarantee anything. Your plan to become a teacher is great, it shows you want to do something you love. That is the second half of success.

What you will get are a lot of useless knowledge but the most valuable thing is that you will learn to develop your thinking and logic and reasoning. Very important in future decision making of your career.
