FREEZING Tonight And 6000W Panasonic Water Heater Is Not Enough! Water Tepid.

Featured Replies

I have this 6000 watt hot water heater that heats the shower water as it travels to the shower head.

In the Hot Season In CM, the water is obviously hot enough.

But during the past 2 or 3 days, the water from the pipe is getting cooler and colder and frigid.

Now, when I turn the rheostat all the way to HOT, still the water will not really get hot enough for a pleasurable shower.

I figure I can't be the only one having this problem.

But you would think that 6K Watts would be plenty.

What do other people do? It is not as if we in Harbin. So why won't my water get hot?

Also, one partial fix for this, though still not satisfactory, is to dial the shower head to the finest spray so that less water passes per minute, and with the slower water the temperature will rise a bit.

Still, it is just not hot and steamy like you want it on a cold night, or morning.

Well, also, I am wondering if you wanted to really soak in a hot bath, like one of those mineral baths, are there any bath places in Chiang Mai?

Similar to the Japanese traditional style public baths?

I know there are plenty of Japanese here in Chiang Mai.

Koreans, too.

So, how many watts do you have, and is it hot?

There is a topic on this here in the CM forum - http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/689832-hot-water-heaters-for-showers/

So rather than have two topics on the same subject just update in the above one.

BTW - I have 3.5kW Sharps and they are not having a problem keeping up. You'll see other members experience in the other topic.
