HUA HIN: -- The TCC Land Co. Ltd., owned by a well-known Chinese-Thai businessman Mr. Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, is going to extend its property business next year. It features three Asiatique projects: a riverfront tourist attraction of 6-7 billion Baht, a joint-investment with Japan for “Snowtown”, a ski resort in Bangkok, the 800-metre cable cars to connect Chao Phraya River and Asiatique projects in Hua Hin and Chiang Mai.

The Managing Director of TCC Land Co. Ltd. Mrs. Walapa Trisoraj announced that the company is preparing to expand at least threee business projects of tourism-based property under the Asiatique brand within the next couple of years. The three projects will take place in Bangkok, Hua Hin and Chiang Mai, all of which are internationally well-known cities of Thailand.

The first to be launched is the Asiatique Charoen Nakhon on the Thonburi side of Bangkok. Located close to the currently available project on the New Road, the new Asiatique Charoen Nakhon, covering a vast 29-Rai area, will consist of a big hotel, a 3 or 4 floor shopping mall and an open space for retailing. The highlight of the shopping mall is an in-door ski resort Snowtown – the first one in the ASEAN region --, a big cineplex and a spacious parking lot. It will serve as a recreational center for Bangkokians inThonburi. Those on the other side of Chao Phraya River who would like to visit it can use a boat from Charoen Krung which takes only 5 minutes.

Asiatique in Hua Hin
Between 2014 and 2015, Asiatique Hua Hin will be constructed on a 15-Rai by the beach next to the Marriott Hua Hin. This business was taken over by the president of TCC Group Mr. Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, said a source from the company.

The main concept of Asiatique Hua Hin is lifestyle shopping and dining areas that exudes its unique historical background since the reign of King Chulalongkorn. With around a billion Baht budget, it will be composed of 40-50 shops and over 10 restaurants. This project will take one year and a half to two years to complete.
