Chalerm told to clarify “men in black” at the Labour Ministry

BANGKOK: -- The People’s Democratic Reform Committee has demanded a clarification from Labour Minister Chalerm Yubamrung about the reported presence of some “men in black” on the roof-top of the ministry’s building near the Thai-Japanese youth centre in Din Daeng.

PDRC spokesman Aekkanat Promphan said on Friday that there was no way that protesters could get into the Labour Ministry’s building and climb up to the rooftop unnoticed whereas all the police were deployed at the centre to prevent protesters from breaking in.

He added that he would like to know whether Chalerm was aware of the presence of the “men in black” or not as their presence coincided with the clashes between police and protesters in front of the youth centre and the dead victims were shot from a high ground.

Forensic police confirmed that ballistic test showed that the dead policeman, Narong Pitisit, was shot from a high ground.

Aekkanat said the PDRC wanted the police to clarify whether the bashing of a pick-up truck bearing a Red Cross logo in front of the youth centre Thursday afternoon was perpetrated by police as shown in the social media or by imposters masquerading as policemen.

The Centre for the Administration of Peace and Order (Capo), said the former Democrat MP, has deliberately painted the protesters in a negative light by portraying the police as the victims of the violence.

He charged that the police appeared to have wanted to use force against the protesters judging from the discovery of a lot of tear gas, rubber bullets and live ammunition inside the youth centre.

Getting a little edgy are we?

How would you be if you were accused of a killing that was setup by the government ?

There have been constant aerial shots of the protests, including drone images. I have a feeling they could come up with something better than this picture.

If it´s true that the policeman who got killed (and others), were shot from above, please do everything to get the purpetrator(s).

I can´t see how it would further the "reds" cause though?

The only one ´winning´ from an escalation of violence is Dear Leader Suthep, Secretary General of the People

Perhaps the drone was shot down by those men in black!

Chalerm has survived politically 40 years in turbulent years. You don't do that by being careless or stupid. He may be a flamboyant drunk clown at times, but do not mistake him for an amateur!!

If those photos really existed, why wait 36 hours before publishing them??

A photoshop would take 36 minutes to produce, not 36 hours, wouldn't you think ?

May be that it took some time because they had to go through thousands of drone pictures which are not their property .

There are some people on a roof. Not much else to see. Nothing very incriminating. If the shots were taken by drones, I doubt that they would have been turned over to Suthep.

The actual image might be better. This is a camera shot from a picture.

Anyhow, can't you see people dressed in black who are trying to hide on the rooftop of the labor ministry? I think that's fairly clear. Therefor the question: Who are the men in black and what are they doing there? Like Suthep stated, we can be sure that Chalerm's office is well protected so for sure they can't have sneaked in. Otherwise they would have been arrested and shown in the papers.

Nice contradicting yourself.

Maybe they graduated in Thailand because where I went to school we understood if the objects or buildings around you had shadows then so should the people in the photo. I mean look at the wall behind them and then look at the shadow from the building. That shadow from the building is really, really strong. yet not even a trace of a shadow

Almost 20 people on a rooftop watching events, and not one weapon in sight.

Damning!

Madman Suthep really is starting to lose it.

Plenty of pictures of the peaceful "students" (aka vocational schools mob and southern rubber farmers) though.

Madman Suthep really is starting to lose it.

Starting to lose it? Why? Because he is asking this question?

He added that he would like to know whether Chalerm was aware of the presence of the “men in black” or not as their presence coincided with the clashes between police and protesters in front of the youth centre and the dead victims were shot from a high ground.

How can they tell their presence coincided with the clashes? Are they <deleted>###ng nuts??? Do they have an exact idea of when they were deployed there? And which kind of interaction they had with the clashes?

They are only vomiting propaganda, and someone listen them on 2 paws and with tongue out...

And words from the Supreme Suthep... He will sue government for damage of private property. What about him and his nice security? Should they serve jail for life for damages? Totally nuts.

Looks like maintenance people to me. Too far way I don't see an guns. Only workers.

How can that be: in one breath you say too far away to tell / but in your next breath you say it's maintenance workers.

So please explain how / why you claim it's maintenance workers.

And perhaps you would like to view the youtube video on this thread. Do workers do thinks which emits a few moments of smoke, and throw they deliberately throw things off the roof?

Suggest you do some reading of Thai history and get a better understanding of the whole picture.

Further, there are. unfortunately, those whose survive, even long term, purely by strong / nasty intimidation.
