Your last post implys that you believe that nobody is financing these protest. Please inform me as to how its being funded

I didn't imply anything.

You're the one who seems to have secret information about the ammarts and are making up all sorts of stories. Since you're so well informed, why don't YOU inform us and show us proof that the protests are being funded by 'Thailand's wealthier people'?

I believe this protest is being funded. Do you believe it is being funded. Stop dodging the question

No evidence ? cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Think about it and 2008 you think they had a whip round with the old hat ? qui bono, who benefits. You must be the only person in Thailand who dosn't see the elephant in the room. Read a bit on the history of coups and power plays here m8 please your embarrassing yourself.

Prove it. Seriously, you can laugh and insult all you want but people like you just post BS and blame everything on unseen and unnamed people but you have no shred of evidence whatsoever. Seriously 'm8', I dare you to post the proof here. Hell I double dare you.

If you can't, you're not adding to the discussion, you're just writing fiction and pulling 'facts' out of thin air.

One guard killed, 3 others wounded in shooting near protest site
By Digital Content

BANGKOK, Dec 28--- One security guard was shot dead and three others were injured in a pre-dawn gun attack near an anti-government rally site while probe was underway.

The shooting occurred early Saturday morning when an unidentified group of gunmen fired M16 rifles at Chamai Maruchet Bridge near the rally site of the Network of Students and People for Thailand Reform (NSPTR).

Pol Col Napon Kladkhemphet of Nang Lerng police station said that the attack kills one NSPTR security guard, identified as Jamriang Jitwat, and wounded three others. He added that all the injured victims have been hospitalised.

A probe is underway and police officers are coordinating with NSPTR leaders to inspect the scene.

An initial investigation found that the group of assailants parked a sedan near the rally site and sprayed bullets at guards and protesters before speeding away from the scene. (MCOT online news)

Show your proof the evil unseen and unnamed 'ammarts' are behind all this.clap2.gif

Your ;"no reponse" to a yes or no question shows you agree with my belief but because it does not fit in with your 'mandate' you wont answer

Hahaha you're pathetic, is that how you 'win' arguments? By telling people they agree with you? clap2.gif

Why should I answer your question when you're the one who is bringing up conspiracy theories without one shred of evidence? The burden of proof is on you, little man.

Weak, little man, very weak.clap2.gif

All the deaths are very sad and must be condemned. For me, however, it is hard to look beyond the context, which is an unlawful attempt to stop an election going ahead when one side knows it cannot win. What I am afraid too many here do not appreciate is that the prospect of seeing democracy overturned and their votes discounted leads to very strong feelings on the red side - feelings that the present government cannot control. The solution that many TVF members advocate - the coup - will I fear lead to bloodshed on a much larger scale. Would the army split? I think it is quite likely.

Drive-By Shooting Kills 1 Anti-Govt Protester
By Khaosod Online

BANGKOK: -- One anti-government protester has been killed and three more injured in a drive-by shooting on their protest sites earlier this morning.

Witnesses said a car carrying a group of unidentified male individuals pulled up near the anti-government protesters′ encampment at Chamai Maruchet Bridge in governmental district of Bangkok at 03.15 today.

The assailants then reportedly rolled down the window and fired an M16 rifle at the group of protest guards positioned near the rally site and quickly fled the scene.

Soon afterwards, the same vehicle parked at another rally site at Missakawan Intersection and the gunmen discharged unknown rounds of ammunition at the protest volunteer guards there, then sped away, according to witnesses.

Four anti-government protest guards have been wounded by the gunfire, and one of them later died at hospital. One of the injured protesters is said to be in critical condition.

Oh course you know better because you choose to ignore everything around you, if you even live here, if you can speak Thai talk to a few ask them then tell them what what you think, amaze them with your wisdom and when they are done finished making ting tong comments and laughing at you go get a massage and make yourself feel smart again. wink.png

That is not what it is about at all.

There is no attempt to overthrow democracy, it is about the ordinary people of this country having had enough of the corruption of any government and demanding changes.

Most realize that if another Government is put in place before changes take place then nothing will be done except a lot of talk.

To have an election before reforms would render a reform process meaningless.

Therefor reforms must be put in place first.

Even the reds in the north agree that reforms are needed for they can see how the rich are getting away with crime while the poor remain in jail.

They can see the poor standard of education in so many rural areas that is holding their kids back.

The rice farmers know they are not being paid on time and can see that money is disappearing somewhere and understand that this is because of corruption.

Sure they are politically red and support Thaksin but that doesn't stop them seeing that there are things wrong with the system.

There is a common denominator in all of this but the hate that has been instilled, mostly by lies, is at present keeping factions apart.

Don't know how it can all be brought together but for the good of everyone it certainly needs to be.

There will be no reform if Suthep wins. He had chance to made reform when he was in charge but he just lost his time chasing Thaksin, and trying to incriminate him for extrajudicial killings obtaining: nothing.

This is HIS war against Thaksin and using people for achieve his target.

I will use it as signature: Thaksin - Suthep (and now Abhisit makes them good company) same book, different page.

I can only say that that isn't what I see. Time will tell but I believe the situation is now becoming very dangerous. You underestimate the depth of feeling outside Bangkok and the South at your peril.

Oh I don't underestimate the depth of feeling north of BKK however most of that feeling, as I have posted, is fueled by hate and in some cases intimidation, much of which is generated by lies.

The feeling is not one way either, there are many who support what Suthep is doing and can see how the Yingluck Govt has brought the country to the state it is in now.

I live north of BKK and see this as I get around by the number of TV's tuned in to Blue Sky TV where before they all used to be tuned to the soaps,

I Agree however that there is big trouble looming for Jatuporn is reported as having said he will take the reds to BKK to support PT 'again' and that is when the deaths and injuries started last time.

So once again, in 2 paragraphs, you're telling us you don't have any real evidence about the unnamed ammarts who are supposedly behind Suthep and the protests. So many words when a simple 'I don't' would simply suffice. whistling.gif

This is at the site where the more radical anti-government protesters are camped out. I am sure this will piss them off and they will be hellbent on revenge .....

This is the same as with previous yellow anti-government protests. They were attacked almost every night by mysterious gunmen. In the end they were so pissed and that is when they decided to take over the airports.

The yellow terrorists have recently killed a policeman doing his duty stopping these guns-for-hire from ransacking government buildings. They are evil monsters who deserve everything that comes their way.

The Abhisit government put together a reform committee after the 2010 protests. The current government completely ignored their report.

Why reforms did not even start from eliminate the chance to remove from Government positions people involved in corruption or power abuse?

This is what is all about now. And Democrats had the chance to do that during the time they were in charge. But they did not do. They did have the necessary time to do it. But they did not do.

About the reform program announced by Abhisit, there are plenty of articles and web links. But in one year nothing has been done.

I guess if Khun Suthep will get the power they will require at least 5 years to do that, maybe even more...

What is stopping governments or the courts from removing corrupt officials now?

The reform started with discussions. I'm not sure if the results were released before or after the 2011 election. The Democrats didn't make any changes because they didn't have any time.

Suthep has said that he wants reform and then in 12-18 months have elections.

You can't believe Thaksin (as I not do) but believe Suthep, with all his triumphant lie propaganda?

I am showing you that if in 1 year they weren't able to even begin a reform, how long will take this time?

Then you see that the 12-18 months are real bullshit. Just nice words for people but I not believe it at all.

Especially from Suthep.

And about why current government is not removing corrupt officials now, the answer is easy. Because they keep corrupt politicians and key positions, as the dems did.

Both are cancer for this country.
