Long term parking = The "Free zone"

Featured Replies

I thought I had found a cheap solution for parking my car for an extended period on the airport "Free zone" parking outside 5 minutes from the airport. When I went to pick up the car after 2 months it was "not free" but 100 Baht per day!

Maybe better take a plane in khon kaen to BKK and park inside the parking garage (Khon kaen = parking garage inside airport bilding ~ FREE ??? I don't know)

Look photo attached !

if you look carefully at the picture and the words free zone.. it is really just saying that no airplanes are parked there...or maybe its ONLY free for airplanes... dunno

A search would have told you that long-term parking at BKK is 100 baht per day. I have never parked there long-term, but I am aware of the cost associated with doing it because I have looked into the option of doing so myself. Several threads on this forum indicated that it was anything but free!!!! There was a time when the fees were waived when Bangkok was facing the floods, but those days have long gone and that offer has gone with them!
