Featured Replies

Me and the TW are going to CM for the first time (live in Warin), what are the must see's while we are there?

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

The hot springs and geysers it has a swimming pool there so take some swim gear also cabins to rent with spa baths for around 1000 baht a night approx 40ks from CM, The night market and the Mountain village very cheap local products there cheaper than the markets and of course the Temples of which there are many.

Good suggestions.

Also recommend you see a tour agent to see what they have available. Snake show Elephant camps Tiger farm Monkey show. butterfly garden. Many attractions. all up to you. If you are into architecture you can just walk around temple to temple admiring the different architecture.

You might be one of many who condemn the animal shows so that would let them out. I am sure there will be people along to say this or that camp is OK.

Just wonder if the Animal lovers ever complain about the way the snakes are treated. LOL

Flight of the gibbons sedgways. Lots to see and do. One month not long enough if you have many interests. Also a pretty fair museum by the three kings monument. One on Changklan not far from the Night Bazaar the wife and daughter, son in law, and grand daughters have been meaning to check out. Even have an insect one. Are walking streets are completely different than the one in Pattaya.

Getting tired just thinking of all there is to do.

Art exhibition in Museum on Changklan Road.... Doi Suthep....Bhuphing Palace and gardens.... Local crafts.... Book a Green Bus up to Chiang Rai even (3 hours each way, about 300 baht pp)

Look in Google Earth at all the photos people have posted...you never know what may take your fancy. Also check out comments in sites such as Tripadvisor

Enjoy your visit. It's a lovely place!

Kanto dinner at the Cultural Center with original Thai dance.. show and typical Lanna dinner... you can pay a visit to BO Sang, the paper umbrella village very close to town....I recommend the silver temple on Silver street(Saturday night market street)....little cruise on Ping river( a couple of hours ) with lunch on board....Doi Pui hill tribe village, Mong hill tribe, very close to Doi Suthep which is another "must see".... it is true: it is endless.......
