Eveready 'Dolphin' torch

Does anyone know where I can purchase 6 volt torch batteries? The kind that will fit Eveready 'Dolphin' torches. The are approximately 10cms x 6.5cms x 6.5cms with two spring type connectors on the top. I have tried every known hardware / electrical shop in south Isaan without success.

Don't remember seeing dolphin torches in any of the shops or hardware stores I've been to in Ubon,and in oz I have only used that type of battery in the dolphin torch.

You could take 4 "D" size batteries solder together then solder wires to the connections.

I can't recall seeing them in Thailand either. It might be time to change up to a more modern torch.

The panasonic Thai website doesn't show that size battery but Energizer Thailand ltd website links to http://www.eveready.com/batteries/Pages/super-heavy-duty.aspx which shows the battery.
