patio roof

Featured Replies

I am planning to add a roofing to make a covered patio as extension of my house (currently only tiled patio, add roof to cover, attach to house wall).

Wonder if anybody could advice expected/reasonabke costs for such to calibrate my budget and quotations (work and materials)?

about 25-30sqm, tile roofing with needed steel frame support, two pillars either steel or concrete, rainwater drain for abt 13meters.

Nothing fancy, yet neat.

One possibility ....just a thought....Is to put up a "shade sail"...can be had for as little as 3000 baht ....one draw back though is it is no barrier to rain..

as I said just a thought ....

As such then ....you could probably get a worker to do the whole project for about 20,000 Baht (probably less)...Precaste concrete poles, steel beams (or wood) and the large asbestos tiles,

We had a roof constructed using 6 x 4" square steel uprights and 1.5" C section steel roof structure with good quality SCG Elephant brand fibre cement roof tiles. About 10 metres x 4 metres for about 16,000 baht here in CM.

Too late for an edit...

The 16,000 baht was for the labour. The materials cost about 14,000 baht.

Any thoughts on powder coated steel - never see this only sheeting
