FBI asked to help in Thai serial child-killer case

Now, if they would just ask for help down south to find the terrorists blowing up monks and teachers as well as innocent market folk, that would be great. It can't be that difficult.

US already provides Thai forces support and training for anti terrorism in the deep South via Special Operations Command, Pacific (SOCPAC) and other specialist US forces. In addition SOCPAC have been deployed in the Philippines since 2002. The resolution to most of the insurgency conflict in the Philippines (150,000 deaths) has been by political means, not military.

Regards the OP, FBI have had staff located in Thailand for many years to counter transnational crime. RTP have cooperated many times to track down US nationals in Thailand who are wanted for paedophile activity and other serious crimes in the US and elsewhere. Personally I think it's great that RFP have requested support to increase their knowledge on profiling and other investigative techniques for serious crimes.

Who is the guy in handcuffs? If they already have him, why ask the FBI for assistance? I object to this use of US taxpayer funded FBI for investigating a Thai crime. This calls for massive complaints to congressman and senators. This is appalling.

There are FBI Investiogators already positioned in SE Asia, no extra cost ionvolved - FYI we have forensics and methods that are not privy to the rest of the world - why not use them to help out a friend - they are already here - this puke has made claims that he has killed many more, they can help find ut of he is telling the truth or not, and maybe assist in finding the bodies. - at least the parents will have some closure...........or better yet, he may be making claims he is oart of some cult that is continuing these killings, that will help shut them down.

Remember "If you don't know; You don't know" just wait it out before commenting.

RIP to all the Innocents.

Asking for help is one thing but with BiB's track record they are probably asking the feds to solve the case for then. Wouldn't it be bettet to ask for a training so they don't have to ask for help anytime it's beyond collecting tea money and framing Myanmar citizens?
