I guess this means members of the public going to Thai Immigration offices at Chaeng Wattana (if it reopens at some point) or elsewhere is now illegal -- unless "allowed by officials"???? tongue.png

The Nation posting above doesn't say it, but presumably, this order only applies to those areas in and around BKK covered by the "State of Emergency."

If courts are 'off limit' to the public does that mean even k. Suthep would not be able to go to court to acknowledge one more 'pre-meditated' murder charge?

His lawyer would have to show him the way anyway - he's never been there....

Interesting.

There are those on here, of the pimpernel persuasion, that claim he's been through the mincer in them

All this is, is the list of buildings Suthep and his group will march on next...

Do it; defy the dictatorship of PTP.

Its a list read via skype of places that make Thaksin uptight he can keep his crumbling oligarchy somewhat intact, especially with farmers turning their backs, and hiring fools like Chalerm to keep things in order.

So Chalerm is going to order the police to gas, beat and shoot them to enforce his bans. Pass me some more ear medicine quick.

If I hear the ear-medicine comment once more, I am going to throw up!!bah.gif

It was (sort of) funny the first 3000 times!coffee1.gif

Your plan isn't working to good. The thugs are all over the city closing down government officers and CMPO isn't doing a damn thing about it. All talk no action. Worthless bunch of idiots.

Unlike Abhisit, he has never turned up to the court to hear the charges - he has been summoned twice by the court, but each time he sends his lawyer to say "I'm too busy"

Closing down government officers? I know that you are challenged by your vocabulary skills but calling the protestors thugs goes beyond that.

These " lists " are beginning to pile up. Where do they go ? They're as high as the Eiffel Tower at this point. If you asked any official who just recited them from the paper in front of them and challenged them to recite the same list for memory, would they really remember ? Just how can any of that be implemented when Chalerm has assured the foreign media that the police will not be intervening ? One gets the distinct impression that these daily lists are a way to convince themselves that they are actually doing something. Needless to say, they're not convincing to anyone else.

13 is certainly vague - especially the last place. On purpose or oversight?

Reality is that driving over the bridge is unlikely to get you arrested, however it could. Wonderful!

As far as I know, dictators don't get elected in do they? How is the PTP a dictatorship? Legitimately elected into office, right?

Nope, they are thugs, with or without ties. Gangs of these worthless morons have been riding around Phuket closing schools down. So not only do these dimwits want to stop democracy and deny people their democratic right to vow, they want to deny children their education too. You must be well happy with that.

Sort of like the word "thugs", which, I believe, Nowhereman now has a monopoly on...!

When they start burning down buildings, attacking the miltitary or police with guns and grenades, pouring blood all over the gate of Yingluck's house, storming hospitals and pulling patients onto their stage and Suthep is on stage calling everyone to bring a litre of petrol to 'burn the city down' - only then will i agree with the term 'thugs'

Really? You're a very disturbed person

RT@Lerlaforever: Suthep: If Chalerm is an effective person, he would have caught the guy who killed Sergeant Yim long time ago.

RT@Lerlaforever: EXPLANATION: Sergeant Yim's killing was said to be linked with one of Chalerm's son.

Hopefully with new powers bestowed by the emergency decree Chalerm will now make some progress in tracking down the murderer of the crime busting sergeant, as long as he can keep off the ear medicine.

I just had a look at the pictures above.

I believe government said there were only a few hundred protesters?

I doubt very much that is a current picture. Could have been taken a while ago, at the start of the protests 2 weeks ago.

How So? Is it only the Red Shirts that are allowed to do that?

You're absolutely correct, they worm their way in with false promises, purchasing the votes of the unwary, and then turning their elected position into a dictatorship. Just ask the farmers...!

That's incorrect. K. Suthep already went at least two times to hear 'pre-meditated' murder charges.
