Suitcase Repair Shop In Bangkok

Featured Replies

has anyone found a suitcase repair shop in Bangkok?

I just need the lock on my suitcase replaced to save buying a brand new one..

I heard there is one in Thong Lor - any address/directions ?

We've used the one in Thonglor several times and recommend it highly. It's on the west side of the street, in a small strip of shops just before you get to J-Avenue, although I can't remember the address or even the soi number. As I recall, it's called TheSuitcase Doctor or Mr. Suitcase or something cutesy like that. Just drive slowly down Thonglor and start watching on the left after you pass Starbucks. You'll see it.

There's also one down one downstairs at the Central World Trade Center if that's more convenient.

I would guess the ultra cheapest would be the one near the Saphan Thaksin sky train station and I have used it before with good results. This isn't just a drop off location but where workers are out all day working in the open air repairing luggage. I don't even think it has a name, but you can't miss it. After exiting the sky train go down the stairs where you would go to Robinsons (I think that is exit #3). But at the bottom do a u-turn left and it is across the street you will come to which has several barber shops.

If you have any trouble finding a place ask someone and point to your bag and say "repair" which is a word most Thai's know.

thanks for feedback

I found the 'Mr. Bag-Fix' on Thonglor in United Tower near Soi 17.

Same company has a shop in Central World Plaza floor P1.

Good to see we are entertaining English Noodles, I never knew getting a suitcase repaired could be so much fun.
