Anyone who wants a really authentic tattoo... come here..... Ban Lan ...a Shan village 5 km. from the border with Burma.... an old wrinkled tat covered man...in a bamboo and leaf thatched hut....with a long metal stylus....in Shan script...

no autoclave... and uses his feet to stretch your skin...

Yes it does hurt...but not as much as with the modern guns (I'm told)....which move so fast that the needles are in when being moved..
