When you were young, you had worse corruption because no one was allowed to question the military dictatorship(s). Because no one talked about it, does not mean it did not exist.

You say your country is corrupt now with Thaksin. Ok, then please explain to me why Phuket/Surat Thani/Krabi is considered to be one of the most corrupt places in the region? The Democrats have ruled the region unchallenged for decades and the region is distinguished by long list of criminal activities unmatched anywhere else in Thailand. You do realize that Suthep was the master of the south, right?
