Rubber wood

Featured Replies

Anyone has any idea where to buy rubber wood?

There are a couple of roadside locations out in my direction but I don't remember seeing any passing your way. Contrary to popular belief they are not typically located on a rubber plantation.

If you are looking for rubber wood furniture, like shown in the pictures, you need to go to a furniture store. If you are looking for posts or tree trunks, they sell them by diameter from roadside vendors.

Global House and Thai Watsadu sell it in 8`x 4` sheets up to 20mm thick, and various sizes in plank form up to (i think) 25mm

Have used it for making shelves, desk tops and cabinets and coated it with stain/varnish. A little like pine wood to work with,

Be careful as it is graded and stamped BB and CC never seen AA, most common I seem to find is CC and may need wood filler

applying into some blemishes. Hope this is what you are on about.

Thanks, that is exactly what I am looking for. So I have to wait until Thai Watsadu opens here.

You could try Home Pro.

Tried already, they have almost nothing. I really don't like that shop. The former Home ?? has more.
