Popular Post terryp Posted February 27, 2014 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2014 but the killing of 1,000 of children in Syria or by US drones all over the mid east/asia is acceptable...strange standards the EU has >? 3
Katipo Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 To put it bluntly, I doubt any of the 'stakeholders' in Thailand give a toss what she or the EU have to say. Not until their opinion has any effect on their purses or other personal real world repercussion. 1
Costas2008 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 The EU, and the whole world is concerned about Thailand, meanwhile the PM is visiting Chiang Mai to discuss irrigation problems. That sums it up.
Thai at Heart Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 The EU, and the whole world is concerned about Thailand, meanwhile the PM is visiting Chiang Mai to discuss irrigation problems. That sums it up. I think that is stretching it a little. Yingluck might be in Chiangmai, but in reality, Thailand is about story 250 in any newspaper at the moment. Everyone is scratching their heads wondering "how stupid are these people that they can't understand democracy?" 1
Popular Post ShannonT Posted February 27, 2014 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2014 Maybe the EU can take this opportunity to tell Mr. Suthep that children should not be used as human shields for his own protection. When Suthep sees children besides or near him, he should tell them to go home. No excuses. 4

Popular Post ShannonT Posted February 27, 2014 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2014 The EU, and the whole world is concerned about Thailand, meanwhile the PM is visiting Chiang Mai to discuss irrigation problems. That sums it up. Chiang Mai is Thailand the last time I checked, or does it end at the outskirts of Bangkok for you? And irrigation problems affecting farmers are also the responsibility of the caretaker PM. Not everyone has the time to sit around the streets of Bangkok all day doing nothing but blowing a whistle. 5

And irrigation problems affecting farmers are also the responsibility of the caretaker PM. Not everyone has the time to sit around the streets of Bangkok all day doing nothing but blowing a whistle. The long overdue payments to farmers for rice pledged under the PTP's rice pledging scheme is also the responsibility of the caretaker prime minister. Oh yes, forgot she has all that in hand. She vowed they will be paid this week. Not much longer for them to wait then! 2

Negative on any comment, this is not about standards, this is about the situation TODAY IN THAILAND . Hope you get your standard up and show some respect for the victims .

That sums it up. Sure that sums it up, because if she does not visit Chiang Mai to discuss the irrigation problems, and next time Chiang mai gets flooded, you wil be the first to comment that she did not do her job. Governing is more than looking how Suthep is tearing this country down. !! 2
