Bla Bla from Bangkok

Featured Replies

Went to walking street in Maenam tonight.

At the entrance there was a large screen broadcasting a load of Thai rhetoric from Bangkok rally. It was turned up full volume and quite a nuisance to the farang visitors who made up about about 95% of the shoppers. I watched carefully and except for 4 old lady stall holders, who were watching diligently and one man, absolutely no one was listening. The ladies working in a nearby bar told me that they were sick of it but remained quiet. This showed utter disrespect for the foreign visitors . If it was not for them there would be "NO" walking st market. One lady bar worker who silently ignored it said to me. "Thailand never be good until they shoot Suthep" he always make bad !

To me this shows just how these people will behave to us if Suthep gets his way. I can imagine it now , loudspeakers on street corners loudly broadcasting " thoughts and persuasions of Suthep" non stop as was happening tonight.

Worst post ever

let me sum it up:

1. Thai people had the wrong TV station on and that made you mad.

2. You spoke to 1 prostitute who gave her opinion on politics and as a result you have decided Suthep is Ho Chi Minh.

Please find a mirror and take a good hard look at yourself.

Most of Samui, Surathani and South of Thailand people agree and support Suthep and his movement.

To debate about it there are enough threads open daily in the news section with red hot discussions too.
