I stock up on anything I need from EBAY to avoid shipping cost. Anything I can fit in the box. Plumbing faucets pans anything that turns to crap in 6 months out here. I had a friend that got every bolt inside and out for his Ninja 650 . He got tired of all the rust in a short amount of time. Got a nice motorcycle . If you need a tank protector The ones made in or carried in the states stick. Here they just fall off. Which brings me to glue. No good rubber cement out here or gorilla glue. TSA will let the gorilla glue through but any rubber cement needs to be concealed. Be sure to get some Pen cams as the bastards will swipe your things they want. The feds are reviwing a narcotics theft from last trip in June. They already paid me out on that still waiting for the other goods to be paid & the thief to get his.Get any luxury foods you can't get here. You know Graham crackers & marshmallows for somores! I always bring mixers for cocktails so I don't have to have a grenadine Maitai YUK! Orgeat syrup is made from almonds not chemicals to make grenadine. And the alcohol Dark Rum taht only cost $6.00 there & is $18-$24 a bottle here. I have never declared & never been stopped. But usually not more than 3 bottles anyway. Not bootlegging it.I also go to the auto shops & stock up on real fasteners(body clips & screws. They are not made right here at all In the states you get the real deal. A couple books some video games. Bandaids (brand ) & other med kit type of things that are never out here.Textile cloth for t-shirt repair (none here) ribbed cloth-elastic for when the collars get frayed. A U.S. shirt will last me 10 years so I keep up omn the repairs. Iron on patches. I would pick up a six pack of brains & a case of common sense for the worthless people in some of the service trades if they were available.White strips for brightening teeth . No have here & it is hella costly to bleach them at the dentist. And last but not least all my dental work done at home where I don't have to hunt for a dentist that really is not even an assistant.I am lucky this year I have a light load to bring back . Last year saw bllades chainsaw bar tools ice trays cloth material & on * on. Thee year before a baby webber $23.00 here it is $140-160 used (what a joke)

This year the federal building is going to repack my box to try to catch the pricks at Covenant(subcontractor out of San Francisco for TSA) If you have anything of value best carry it on & put your clothes in your box or checkin suitcase.

Have fun 21 more days & I'm outta here for a month SWEEEEEEET!

Things that I like to bring back are fasteners like screws, nuts and bolts, etc. that do not corrode like all of the ones I see here. I learned that brass screws are not that strong so as far as I know the best materials are stainless steel, galvanized or zinc plated, or even silicon bronze. Think like a boat builder.
