With all of my documents in hand, where in Chiang Mai do I apply for licence ?

The Land Transport Office on Hang Dong Road, opposite the end of the runway. They are now open for driving licences Monday to Friday plus the first Saturday of each month only 8.30am to 3.30pm...Go to the First Floor ...right hand side.

PS make sure that you have ALL of the docs.....otherwise ..

I don't keep track of runway ends, but isn't that just south of Tesco, and just before a pedestrian overpass?

What I liked is that they had a list in English and Thai of what the required documents are. I can't find that list right now. They do have a vendor there, don't they, who makes the right size photos for a reasonable fee?

I got my pics and Photocopies done by the women who has the stall at the back of the Immigration Office.

Also for your medical Certificate there is a small poly clinic just before Tescos who will give you the old 1-2 for about 80 bt.....said I was in good condition...
