PHUKET: This week’s siege of Patong by hundreds of angry tuk-tuk drivers was just the latest manifestation of the power of the mob to run a steamroller over Thai law and the rights of the public. It has happened time and time again, and each time they get away with it.

BEIJING - A Chinese person whose passport number is among those listed for passengers aboard a missing Malaysia Airlines flight did not in fact board the plane, state media reported Sunday.

Royal Thai Navy Spokesman: suspected Malaysia Airlines MH 370 debris found off Vietnam coast

BANGKOK, March 9 - A Royal Thai Navy spokesman on Sunday announced that debris from Malaysia Airlines MH 370 had been located 153 nautical miles off the Vietnamese coast.
