If you went into a store ( as an example) and asked or reported an issue and you were totally ignored , how would you feel ? I am guessing you wouldnt appreciate it, so why do it here on asupport forum ?

No reports are ignored. When a moderator handles a report it is evaluated as to whether it is in violation of forum rules and actioned accordingly. If it is determined the report is not actionable then the report is closed with no action on the post taken. Every report is checked the same way.

Depends on the usual, where & when; and if it's a question & answer already debated of which can easily be found with the "search" option.

Just curious at browsing down the reports the number showing 0 replies, 100+ views and no answer.

Turns out it was my fault anyway. Stupid computers.

My specific issue re: avatars has been resolved thanks to the recommendation of not using the regular system but using "gravatar" remote hosted images.

I understand invariably it will be a user issue, but just browsing down the list I was curious as to why had 100+ views and no responses, just seemed odd for a forum support section.

Appears as I misunderstood the question and thought it was the Report system being questioned. In this case I responded to this topic report in 6 minutes as did PoorSucker. Though my answer was off topic.

As for 100+ views, lot of curious members without an answer. Sometimes mods miss the topic or don't have an answer to some technical issues of the board.
