We were approached today by English guy on scooter in Chaweng and he said if we go for a presentation to unfinished resort Tides in Plai Laem,we could win some prize from scratchcard...I want to warn people it's a scam,which could cost you 18k for 15years of membership in Tides.

Just ask them if they have a work permit, they tend to drive off after that

Get the scum off the roads,I've seen one man a few times arguing with tourist on the street because they don't want to know and then the next day have seen the same guy crawling along the street in chaweng out of his head at 7am!scum.get a real job.

If I have got the right resort, to get to it from the beach SR, turn down soi Tongsai between FM & 7/11, fork left at the 'empty resort', take first concrete road on LHS to the beach and walk about 300 metres to the right.

(The walk will do you good. )

Not sure of the best way to drive there though.
