BANGKOK: -- What did pop singer Bruno Mars choose to do during his day-after victory lap in Bangkok?

Stop and admire himself on the cover of pirated CDs being sold in the street.

At least he seemed philosophical about it.

"Got these Bootleg CDs . #WhatayaGonnaDo?" he posted at 5:40pm this afternoon.

Indeed, Bruno, whattayagonnado?

Pic was posted one hour ago, so figure out the location and get to stalking! (Let us know if you find him.)

Sorry, have better things to do.

Anyway, never heard of himcoffee1.gif

Talented young guy, I like his music

Maybe this photo was taken yesterday before he went to the Philippines. He is in the Philippines since yesterday to give personally his donation to yolanda victims and to visit his family and relatives.

Youtube is your friend mate.

A very talented guy.

popstars don't make money with cd sales these days so of course he can laugh with it... the more people that have access to your music (legal or illegal) the more popular u become and the more fans u will get, fans who *pay* for gigs which DOES generate cash (as does merchandise sold at gigs).

She's kinda cute, in fairness.

That's odd. I wonder who was at his concert in Bangkok last night?

Last night? But I read in the news that he is in the Philippines.

MANILA - Grammy-winning artist Bruno Mars donated $100,000 (around P4 million) to the youth victims of super typhoon "Yolanda."

During a press conference held at Solaire Resort and Casino on Friday, the Filipino-American singer personally handed his donation to Bantay Bata Foundation spokesperson Tina Monzon Palma.

Also at the event were Bantay Bata board member and ABS-CBN Head for Integrated News and Current Affairs Ging Reyes and program director Dr. Luisa Puyat.

Mars, who first visited the children of the foundation in April 2011, explained that his last visit to the country was "life-changing," which is why he decided to help out this time around.

"I'm really happy to be back. Last time I was here, it changed my life. Mabuhay, maraming salamat," the 28-year-old singer said.

Mars, best known for the hits "Just the Way You Are" and "Marry You," is scheduled to perform at a sold-out concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday (March 22) as part of his "Moonshine Jungle" tour. Report from Ginger Conejero, ABS-CBN News

At least he has a sense of humour about it!! Elton john would be screaming murder!!

He had an interesting start in show business as a (young) child Elvis impersonator in Hawaii. Seems to have gotten through some pretty rocky stuff and to currently have his head straight and career in gear.

Filipino-American, sounds better than Jewish-American. His Father is half Puerto Rican half Jewish from New York. His mother was only a child when she came to the USA.

I am a fan of Bruno Mars and have sequenced all of his albums but I couldn't get a ticket despite having contacts within BEC Tero. The tickets sold out within 10 minutes. Let's hope he comes back soon.

He was awesome at the Super Bowl half-time show! He channeled James Brown perfectly!

Why would I go run off and stalk some kid...because he has music and maybe some money? I don't have money, thats why I'm here in Thailand and I don't think he is going to give me any money, so I'm going to lose money by mrt/bts, motorbike or fuel to go and stalk him...

I hope he pluncked down say $100 usd and bought some of his own pirated copies.... yeeha... at least he didn't do what Lady Gaga did and tweet all the world she was in bangkok and going to look for a pirated rolex or whatever she tweeted when she got off da plane and then she went shopping on the street... 5 5 5

I'm waiting for the Thai govt. condemnation of Bruno because he defames and slanders Thai people's integrity by exposing this.

He is in the Philippines now. He had a show here on Thursday night at Impact Arena though. From his facebook page, he was up and about in Bangkok on Friday morning.
