Could Thailand have done better than Malaysia in the "crisis management" of a missing plane?

As time drags-on for the saddened relatives of flight MH370 concerning the fate of their loved ones;

I reflect back to the mis-handling and/or of information and technical data to the initial response by Malaysian Officals to this tragic incident.

Could Thailand Officials have done better if it had happened to them? whistling.gif

I think NOT.......

Why:

1. They are totally inept in any type of crisis management.

2. The initial response would have been that the BIB believe that it was most probably a suicide caused from falling from a high place.

(Please know, I am NOT making light of the incident but the way it would probably be handled if by Thailand)

Many of us here on Thai Visa Forum travel Internationally often and this incident has certainly given us cause to worry MORE about what our family/loved ones would have to endure if something so tragic would ever happen to us.

Passengers, crew, & relatives of MH370 you are in our prayers......

No, not at the moment. At least the various parties in Malaysia - MIA, the Govt and Military - appear to be working as a team (most of the time).

I like threads like this. Historical kinda. Maybe we could discuss how the Thais would have handled the Battle of Waterloo or the Sack of Rome. Or maybe the invasion of Crimea?

The invasion of Crimea is very current ;)
