tinted windscreen

Here in Thailand, when shops say “60% tint,” they often mean the film can have a VLT (visible light transmission) anywhere around 15–25%. From my experience, 15% on the windscreen is too dark, but 25% VLT is a good balance, and night driving in the city is still comfortable. So just talking about “60%” isn’t enough, you need to check the actual VLT spec on the film you’re buying. On my car I chose SolarFX with 25% VLT on the front and it’s been great for visibility at night while keeping the cabin cooler.
