Hua Hin:-- On 27th February 2014 the Director of Hua Hin Hospital Dr. Niran Jantrakul with Chairs of the Lions Club and the Rotary Club Hua Hin, the Senior Advisor of the Princess Sirindhorn International Environmental Park Mr Ruud Jansen and others attended an opening ceremony of Hua Hin Hospital Three.

The recently opened hospital is located in Soi 89 at the entrance to the Khao Takiab Community and Wat Khao Santi Buddhist Temple. The hospital provides basic and advanced medical treatments for Thai and foreign patients. In the near future, it will have the same medical services as the Chiva Som, a well-known spa and wellness centre of Hua Hin.

The hospital has two doctors, two nurses, four other health professionals with ten staff working full-time everyday. It can accommodate up to 100 patients from Khao Takiab, Ban Nong Kae, Ban Mai-Hua Na, Khao Tao and Suan Son Pradipas.

The hospital has four zones. The first zone is open from Monday to Friday and reserved for general patients suffering from minor illnesses. Those whose symptoms are serious will be transferred to the Hua Hin Hospital near the Airport.

The second zone is the dentistry section which provides dental care, tooth extraction and decalcifying. The third zone provides Thai and Chinese alternative medical treatments, such as acupuncture, foot massage, traditional Thai massage and herbal treatments. The fourth zone, known as Phathra Narakul after its benefactor, is the life and body rehabilitation zone providing medical care for patients with bone, joint and muscle problems and those who have paralysis or paresis. This zone has highly-qualified physiotherapists and modern equipment.

In the future the hospital will provide kidney dialysis and liver detoxification.

Donations for medical equipment are now being sought.

Dr Niran commented that the hospital is 16 Rai land and when completed its surroundings will become a ‘health garden’ similar to the Chiva Som.

“The garden will be like a resort for Thai and foreign patients, featuring fully-equipped accommodation. Medical treatment will vary from kidney dialysis, liver detoxification, healthy food consumption and 3-day or 1-week alternative medical courses. Patients will be able to tune their body and mind according to both scientific and natural principles,” concluded the Director.
