kamelot Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 A strange thing just happened,a older Thai man in a wheelchair outside my house asking for help. He said his wheelchair was broken and needed my help, seemed like a scam and he quickly left when i called out for my Thai wife. Not even sure he was handicapped..so be careful for what he is up to. I live in Chalong. 1
NamKangMan Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 If his wheelchair was broken, how did he get there, and how did he leave????
Somtamnication Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 If his wheelchair was broken, how did he get there, and how did he leave???? I love those questions. 2

Nip Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 If this is the same old guy I met 4 or 5 years ago in Chalong he is ok. He said his wheelchair was broken and he just wanted a lift to Big C which from Chalong is quite a distance in a wheel chair. He sprung up on the back of my Phantom folded up the wheelchair and off we went. Truth be told I reckoned the wheelchair was probably ok but I obliged him and he was most grateful.

Some people will do anything on Phuket to get out of paying a tuk-tuk on Phuket. Edited April 6, 2014 by NamKangMan 1
surangw Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 good thing thailand does not have any ada laws like california, it would keep scam lawyers busy 24/7
NamKangMan Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 "he quickly left when i called out for my Thai wife" - I would quickly leave as well. 1
