zydeco
Well, he is essentially telling them to work for him and his movement rather than the legally constituted government. Goes a tad beyond the provisions of the "Hatch Act" wouldn't you say? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Hence, my question: is there a Thai version of the Hatch Act? Without one, it may well be legal to go as far beyond the "provisions of the Hatch Act" as one would want. Edited April 9, 2014 by zydeco
JAG
I'm no expert but I am pretty sure Thailand has nothing to compare with the Hatch Act. If they did, I am sure any restrictions which it may impose would not be applied to Suthep. Let's face it, just about all the laws regarding a member of the publics interaction with government and the electoral process in particular appear to have waived as far as he and PDRC seem to be concerned. Friends in high places I suppose. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Edited April 9, 2014 by JAG
