PATTAYA – April 9, 2014 [PDN]; at 10.30 a.m., Mr. Rakhop Srisupphaart (Director-General of Customs Department), Mr. Phaisarn Chuenjit (Deputy Director-General of Customs Department) and Mr. Nimit Saengamphai (Director of Investigation and Suppression 2 Section) together made a statement about the seizure of foreign alcohol and transformed Siamese rosewoods and Pterocarpus macrocarpus (or in Thai name called Pra-du wood / timber), totalling 65 million THB. Various branches of the mass media attended the press conference at the Office of Customs Department, Laem Chabang port, Chonburi province.

The Customs Department officers of Investigation and Suppression Office had cooperated with the officers of Laem Chabang Customs Bureau officers to inspect the exported products according to 5 Export Entry forms that were being exported by Advance Trading 2008 (Thailand) Co., Ltd. which declared that 12 containers contained knitted clothes to be exported to China
