Fire at a biscuit factory

ROI-ET: -- A fire broke out late Wednesday night at a small biscuit factory in Muang district of Roi-et province, burning the entire one-storey building to the ground.

There was no injury during the fire which saw explosions periodically from firecrackers kept at the factory.

More than 20 fire engines were rushed to combat the fire which raged for an hour before the factory was burnt to the ground.

Owner of the Tangcharoen biscuit factory Mrs Supaporn Nikonpitakul said her factory did not store fireworks for sale and denied knowledge of the explosions of firecrackers during the fire.
